In Alhambra homes
Alhambra’s Craftsman and Spanish Revival houses have porches, beams and arches that look great lit. About 77 percent of homes here were built before 1980, according to a city housing report, so trim and stucco are often original; we use clips and ties instead of nails or staples.

Send a photo of the front of the house, what you want lit, and where the outdoor outlets are. Our number for photos is (310) 628-9399, and the price comes back before any work is booked.
No roof work
We hang what we can reach from the ground or a ladder. Roof ridges, gutters and two-story eaves are outside our work.
Testing first
Every string is tested on the ground before it goes up, so dead sections are found early.
Outlets and cords
Lights plug into existing outdoor GFCI outlets with weather-rated cords. We spread the load and tell you if an outlet isn’t protected.
Take-down
After the season, lights come down, are coiled and labeled by area, and go back in your boxes.
Your lights
We hang lights you’ve bought. Send a photo of the boxes so we can plan clips and cord lengths.
In older Alhambra houses this job often turns up next to outdoor and motion lighting, outlet, switch and GFCI replacement and mailbox installation, so mention those when you text and we can price them together.
